The Olde Cannery Arts Center, at 61 Enota St., Dahlonega, Georgia, is the home of the Dahlonega Arts Council.

Special art exhibits are presented throughout the year at the Center, which is open to the public 11 am to 5 pm every Saturday and Sunday. Art exhibits feature the work in all media of artists from our area. These shows are not juried, and are open to both professional and beginning artists as a place to exhibit their work.

The Dahlonega Arts Council continues to bring great art exhibitions for 2006 including:
    • 13th ANNUAL DAC FALL ART SHOW - September 9 through November 7 - Opening Reception Friday, September 8, 6 to 9 pm.

    • CHRISTMAS/ HOLIDAY ART SHOW - November 18 through December 24 - Opening Reception Friday, November 17, 6 to 9 pm.

      Something for everyone! Artists wishing to display thier original artwork in the shows should email info@DahlonegaArts.org. Special invitational events and displays are also housed here at the Cannery Gallery, and depending on scheduling, the space is available by reservation to outside groups.

The Visual Arts Committee invites you to join them for the Public Forum & Potluck which they hold almost every month - check the calendar! This is free and open to the public. If you're serious about helping facilitate the arts in Dahlonega, participate in the Committee meeting at 6 pm before the Forum. Bring a dish to share!
